Real couples. Real budgets. The wedding stories nobody else will tell you.

What photographs leave out matters. We look at the travel, the timing, and what your guests will need.

Sea views, late dinners, and what guests need to know.

The romance, the travel, and the stairs nobody mentions.

White sand, warm water, and the planning details that matter.
Stories worth keeping. Advice worth using.

There is no one right way to plan a wedding.
We tell you what worked, what did not, and what couples wish they had known. Then you can decide what fits.

Founder of My Forever Weddings and Bucket List Wedding Magazine
Bucket List Wedding Magazine is the creation of Nicole Stark, founder of My Forever Weddings and a destination wedding planner based in Amsterdam.
After years of planning weddings for couples from around the world, Nicole kept seeing the same gap: magazines full of ads and fantasy, with nowhere for couples to find the real thing.
So she built it. A magazine guided by the same philosophy she brings to every wedding she plans: keep it real, make it yours.
A first look at the people and ideas inside the magazine.

Couples spend months on the flowers, the cake, and the playlist. The ceremony, the part where you actually get married, often gets planned last.
Celebrant Mildred Nijhove has married hundreds of couples, and she’s on a mission to change that. In this issue, she shares the questions she asks every couple and alternatives for people who freeze at the thought of writing vows.
She also tells the story of a ten-year-old girl on a beach that will absolutely make you cry.

Nothing in VANBRUUN’s Amsterdam showroom is real. Every ring on display is a mock-up because every real ring is made to order, designed with the couple, one at a time.
We sat down with founder Victor Halvarsson, who left a career in private banking after failing to find the right engagement ring for his girlfriend.
He talks about bespoke design, the one mistake almost every couple makes, and why the future of jewellery looks nothing like a glass display case.

Wedding planning is one of the most stressful things a couple will ever do together, and almost nobody talks about it honestly. Psychologist Diane Mesnier does.
In this interview, she covers the unequal workload trap, how to talk about money without fighting, what to do when family opinions get loud, and why the moments that go wrong might be the ones you treasure most.
Featuring a dog, a wedding ring, and a very close call.
Advice from people who spent the money.
